We believe that God uses the Bible to help people.
NBCC exists to support the local church through intensive and specialized Biblical counseling. NBCC does not seek to replace the role of the pastor in counseling or discipleship but aims to provide additional resources, training, and assistance to promote the use of biblical counseling to help pastors, strengthen churches, and serve the community at large. NBCC works with pastors as partners in discipleship and counseling in order to keep long-term discipleship relationships centered in the local church.
A BIT ABOUT US
NBCC sees Scripture as the ultimate authority and foundation for understanding people, problems, and solutions. This doesn't exclude other fields of knowledge and care, but acknowledges that the Bible provides the lens through which the spiritual problems of people should be viewed and addressed.
Because NBCC is a ministry, we do not charge for counseling services. Donations to maintain expenses are encouraged.

NBCC utilizes certified counselors to maintain a high standard of spiritual care to counselees. All NBCC counselors are also members of local churches.
OUR STORY
The groundwork for NBCC began in 2021 as pastors Daniel Ruben and Luke Wartgow saw a great need for skilled and compassionate biblical counselors in the Northern Nevada region. God brought other counselors along to serve in the ministry and opened the doors to partner with other churches. NBCC officially opened and began serving the community in 2023.
